Conference Description

Join us for an inspiring day of learning together! Current teacher candidates and practicing educators from across the region are welcome to register for and attend the Elon Education Conference focusing on Transformative and Inclusive Technology Tools and Partnerships with Multilingual K-12 Students, Families, and Communities. 

You’ll have opportunities to learn from leaders in the fields who work with multilingual learners and utilize instructional technology through two keynote addresses in the morning. 

We will then transition to three 50-minute workshop sessions facilitated by practicing educators and community members around topics like:

  • Developing diverse learning communities
  • Growing multilingual readers and writers
  • Communicating with families
  • Effectively using technology to teach content, differentiate instruction, assess students, and analyze data
  • Utilizing assistive technology in the general education classroom

Learning Outcomes

  1. Understand how to involve, engage, and humanize multilingual students and families
  2. Learn how to leverage instructional technology in your work with students
  3. Engage with other educators around important topics related to education
