What are the benefits associated with Elon NEXT?
Elon NEXT learners will earn continuing education units (CEUs). All of the materials are approved as evidence of professional study by Elon University. A record will be kept at the university of learner progress. Each learning module offers a CEU certificate and academic record of your modules, which lists all accreditations and certifications that are earned upon completion of the content. For further questions about certifications for individual learning modules please refer to the learning module description or contact next@elon.edu. Learners are encouraged to contact their employer, professional organizations or jurisdictions in advance to ensure the material provided and the certificates offered will satisfy certification or regulatory compliance. Elon University is a member of the University Professional and Continuing Education Association (UPCEA).
What is the difference between PDUs and CEUs?
Professional Development Units (PDUs) are primarily used for project management courses, and they are calculated as one to one in terms of hours. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are 0.1 credit for every hour. CEUs are nationally recognized, while PDUs are not as well known. Elon NEXT learners will earn CEUs, but PDUs are not available at this time.

Who do I contact if I have an issue with payment or billing?
You can email us at next@elon.edu. Please make sure you include the learning module in question and a description with the date and amount.
What should I do if a learning module is not showing up on my list of modules on the Elon NEXT website?
There could be several reasons as to why this is happening. If the learning module has multiple start dates, it may not have started. It could also be a problem with your payment or with the Elon NEXT system. Please contact next@elon.edu to further investigate.
What should I do if my password is not working?
The fastest and easiest way to solve this issue is to click on the "Forgotten Your Username or Password" link to the right of the login prompt on the Elon NEXT login page. From there, you can either search by username or by email address. An email with instructions on creating a new password will be sent to your submitted email address on record. If you do not receive that email within five minutes, please check your Junk/Spam folders and/or try again. If that does not solve the issue, contact next@elon.edu. Questions will be addressed in a timely manner. Please allow extra time to receive a reply to your messages during weekends and scheduled university holidays.
